It exists more than 20 years in the netherlands: the „Parade“, a mobile theatre festival in tents, which tours several dutch towns and offers high quality culture in the flair of fair and circus. Short theatre and music shows, cabaret and dance, magic and absurdity. The Boulevard of Broken Dreams is the international equivalent of the Parade. In 2008 it took place in Berlin at the main station for the first time. The conception of a „street of theatre“ offers the visitor the possibility to experience several shows per night, to eat and drink in between or to take a round on the carrousel. Enabling artistical exchange between dutch and german artists is another ideal of the festival, which could be realized in 2008 by guest performances of Cellolitis, Theatersport Berlin and Surfpoeten. On the festival area at Humboldthafen, close to Spree, not only the cuisine of the portuguese cook but also delicious pizza and typical dutch pastries – so called Poffertjes – could be enjoyed.

In cooperation with the production office interCult we plan and realize the whole pr and marketing activities of this festival. The Boulevard of Broken Dreams is planning to be back to Berlin in late august 2011.
