The Colombian "cats" from La Gata first visited Germany in 2006 for the Theatresports Worldcup and instantly enthused the audience. In 2010 they are back for another European tour presenting their action movie show "Chumbimba".

La Gata was founded at Andes university in Colombia, when the students were working on a research project on improvisational theatre in 1995. 15 years later the ensemble has a second focus: circus productions, which were influenced e.g. by workshops at Philippe Gaulier's in Paris and also the participation in well-known festivals such as Seattle, Oslo and Edmonton. Culturalis takes care of the booking of La Gata on behalf of Gorilla Theater e.V. for their 2010 tour, taking place from september 23rd-november 1st.
