Until now, his name mostly was associated with "Scratch": Kevin Gillese, former artistical director from Rapid Fire Theatre (Edmonton/Canada) has been touring it several times in Europe. Now he's coming back with a new show - and a new ensemble: Being Dad's Garage's artistical director since the beginning of 2010, Kevin and "Dad's Garage" actress Amber Nash will be touring Europe in fall withtheir brand-new format:

In 2005 when Kevin was developing Scratch he used the scriptwriting book Story by Robert McKee as a guide for the structure. The result was a show and an improv philosophy that fueled years of touring and teaching around
the world. Now he is developing a new approach to longform improvisation based on the modern screenwriting theories of Blake Snyder, author of Save The Cat. This philosophy combines elements of the heroes journey, classical narrative structure and standard Hollywood tricks into a cohesive new perspective on improvising full length stories. Of course both will also offer workshops on both short and longform improvisation while they're on tour from oct. 22nd - nov 23rd!
